The North Shore Women’s Club is a social and philanthropically-minded group of women who live in and support Long Island’s North Shore community. Our goal is two-fold - to build an empowering and supportive environment for women in our community and to make a difference in the neighborhoods in which we live and work.
The club furthers the social, cultural, and educational interests of our members while promoting the highest ideals of citizenship and support for charitable purposes within the North Shore community.
Since our founding in 1940, the club has offered service, compassion, and a helping hand to North Shore residents and neighboring communities for three-quarters of a century. Today, we have grown into a dynamic and vibrant group of women of all ages and from all walks of life – all with the same conviction to help and a willingness to get involved.
We strive to make a difference locally and support a variety of worthwhile projects while focusing our support on helping families in financial or emotional crisis. We provide food to the local food pantry, we work closely with the North Shore School District to assist families in times of need, we award scholarships to deserving students in our area, and we support local charities and organizations.
North Shore Women’s Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We raise funds through the generosity of private donations and the proceeds of our various fundraising efforts.
